Burnsville, Minn. - For the fourth time this season Tanner Berg has been named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week. This past week Berg earned a second place finish in the hammer throw at the Drake Relays and the Kip Janvrin Open, as well as a 13th place finish in the discuss and fifth place finish in shot put at the Drake Relays.

Tanner Berg (Throws, Gr., Watertown, S.D. / Watertown HS) - Northern State
- Placed second (top division II thrower) in the hammer throw at the Drake Relays & the Kip Janvrin Open
- Threw a new school record mark of 70.37m at the Drake Relays
- The mark is the best in NCAA Division II this season
- Added a 13th place finish in the discus (43.40m), fifth place finish in the shot put (16.40m) at the Drake Relays
- Threw the hammer 66.55m at the Kip Janvrin Open
