- Niko Pezonella gave Northern State the early lead in the bottom of the second inning with a two RBI double to right field, scoring Kai Brisk and Reece Ragatz
- UMary brought the game within one run in the top of the sixth inning when Derek Shoen hit a solo homerun to right field
- The Marauders took the lead in the top of the seventh inning with a 3-run homerun by Ty Jones
- Northern State scored their two runs on three hits and committed two errors defensively
- Brian Baker suffered the loss on the mound in his eighth start of the season

- The Marauders added two more runs in the seventh inning and one run in the eighth inning
- Northern had multiple scoring opportunities late in the game as they left a total of eight runners on base in the final three innings, including leaving the bases loaded in the seventh and eighth innings
- Northern State was unable to score a run on eight hits and did not commit an error defensively
- Brewer suffered the loss on the mound in his seventh start of the season
