Wolves Softball Falls Twice to Concordia-St. Paul

St. Paul, Minn. – The Northern State University softball team fell to Concordia-St. Paul in both games of their Sunday doubleheader. After a run-rule loss in game one, the Wolves battled back with seven runs in game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
  • Northern tallied one run on two hits in game one, giving up three errors defensively
  • Concordia-St. Paul recorded four runs in the first, one in the second, and four in the third
  • Liv Richardson recorded a homerun to left center for the Wolves in the fifth
  • Meghan Anderson suffered her 14th loss of the 2022 season, giving up five earned runs (nine total) on nine hits with two strikeouts

  • Northern battled back with three runs in the top of the seventh, however it was not enough to tie the game or take the lead
