Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University softball team hosted the University of Mary from Koehler Hall of Fame Field on Wednesday in a site reversal contest. The Wolves notched 14 hits on the day, however dropped a pair of contests to the Marauders.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
- The two teams were scoreless through the first four innings of play
- The Marauders struck first in the bottom of the fifth with two runs
- Northern had their opportunity to tie the game in the top of the seventh, plating one run but unable to tally the second
- Kamdyn Barrientos doubled to right field, scoring Avarie Eagle for the Wolves lone run of the contest
- NSU tallied their one run on six hits, giving up two errors on defense
- Meghan Anderson suffered her 15th loss of the season, giving up one earned run on six hits, with six strikeouts

- Alexandria Arndt tallied their first run of the contest in the top of the fourth, a long ball to deep left center
- Ashley Fauske scored on a Avarie Eagle single up the middle in the fifth, extending the Northern State lead
- UMary answered back in the bottom of the sixth, scoring three runs for the lead
- Northern recorded their two runs on eight hits with one error on defense
- Abigail Rux suffered the loss giving up three runs (one earned) on five this with three strikeouts
