ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State's Reece Ragatz (baseball) and Liv Richardson (softball) have been named as the South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.
 
Ragatz hit .381 for Northern State in their six games in Florida. The sophomore tallied eight hits, including one double. He added a team high five RBI and six runs scored, with a .429 slugging percentage.
 
Richardson led Northern State hitting .500 in six road contests versus Chadron State, CSU Pueblo, and Colorado Mesa. She recorded nine hits, including four doubles and one homerun, for a .889 slugging percentage. The redshirt freshman added three RBI and four runs scored.
