The College Sports Information Directors of America release their 2021-22 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams earlier today. The announcement recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Northern State University forward Jordan Belka was honored by the organization.
 
Belka leads the team averaging 7.2 rebounds per game, as well as a team second best 14.8 points per game. He is one of just two Wolves who have started every game this season. The Rogers native is shooting 48.7% from the floor, 31.0% from the 3-point line, and 72.1% from the foul line. In addition, he has dished out 44 assists and recorded 21 steals and 18 blocks. In 2021-22, Belka has notched career highs in points (30), rebounds (12), assists (7), and steals (3).
 
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March. The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
 
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2021-22 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
