Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Jackson Harrison (men's track and field) and Haley Osborne (women's swimming) have been named as the South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.
 
Harrison broke the Northern State school record in the 5000m at the SDSU Indoor Classic, running to a time of 14:35.46 in eighth place. He ranks fifth currently in the NSIC in the event.
 
Osborne earned three individual top-10 finishes at the NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships, taking third place in the 200 yard freestyle (1:52.45), seventh in the 500 yard freestyle (5:08.14), and tenth in the 100 yard freestyle (52.45). Her time in the 200 yard freestyle hit the NCAA B Standard qualifying mark and earned all-conference honors.
