Jamestown, N.D. – The Northern State University cross country teams took on the Jimmie Invite on Friday afternoon, coming home with fourth (men) and second (women) place finishes. Northern recorded 12 personal bests from the meet, including a race win by
Jackson Harrison.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The men recorded an average 8k time of 26:42.6
- Harrison tallied a race winning time of 24:51.9; a personal best for the senior
- Josh Martin followed in ninth place, crossing the finish line in 25:54.6
- Jonathan Burkhalter and Evan Halbe rounded out the Wolves top-4 with times of 26:54.1 and 27:43.6 respectively
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The women finished with an average 5k time of 19:35.4
- Jennifer Clark and Mary Franssen took fourth and fifth with personal best times of 18:45.9 and 18:50.1
- Victoria Kolbinger rounded out the top-10 with a ninth place finish, crossing the line in 19:08.1
- Megan Pickering was the fourth Wolf to finish with a time of 19:27.2
