Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State swim team will return to the pool at the Aberdeen YMCA tomorrow as they host MSU Moorhead. The Wolves and Dragons are scheduled for 2 p.m. meet on Friday afternoon to kick-off Gypsy Days at Northern State University.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
- Northern State enters Friday's meet with a 2-1 dual meet record this season
- The Wolves were last in action two weeks ago when NSU went 1-1 in a relay meet with a win over Concordia-St. Paul (140-108) and a loss to Southwest Minnesota State (178-124), Northern then closed the weekend with another dual meet win over CSP (142-55)
- Lilly Grebner earned NSIC Swimmer of the Week honors after her collegiate debut which included two individual event wins in the 100 yard butterfly and 200 yard freestyle; she was also a member of four winning relay teams
- In Grebner's 200 yard freestyle win she swam to a 3.52 second victory over CSP's Farida Maher who hit an NCAA B-Cut time in the event a season ago
- Maddie Gonzales earned two individual event wins in the 100 yard backstroke and the 200 yard individual medley; she was also a member of three winning relay teams
- Haley Osborne earned two individual event wins in the 100 and 1,000 yard freestyles; she was also a member of one winning relay team
MSU MOORHEAD STORYLINES
- Friday's dual meet will be MSU Moorhead's first meet of the season
- MSUM enters the season picked sixth in the NSIC Women's Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll, tied with Southwest Minnesota State with 25 points
- The Dragons finished the 2021-22 season with a dual meet record of 3-2
- MSU Moorhead finished in fifth place at the 2022 NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships, totaling 262.5 team points with one conference champion and all-conference swimmer (Katelin Winter – 200 yard butterfly)
- Demi-Lee Carlisle was named the Dragon's Swimmer to Watch this season, she earned one individual event win in the 100 yard breaststroke and was a part of four winning relay teams last season
- Charlie King enters his sixth season as the head coach at MSU Moorhead
