Cross Country Adds to 2022 Personal Record Pool in Regular Season Finale

Bismarck, N.D. – The Northern State University men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Bismarck for the final regular season meet of the 2022 season. The Northern State women posted personal records across the board, while the men record a third place finish overall.
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Jackson Harrison led the field, winning the race in a time of 24:53.0
  • Josh Martin rounded out the top-5 with a time of 25:27.2
  • Jonathan Burkhalter and Evan Halbe were the next two Wolves to cross the finish line with times of 26:37.7 and 27:34.9 respectively
  • Northern tallied an average 8k time of 26:28
 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Jennifer Clark led the way for the Wolves women with a second place finish and personal record time of 18:08.2
  • Mary Franssen added a fourth place finish with a time of 18:24.1, while Megan Pickering took seventh with a time of 18:54.5; both personal records
  • Alli Jackson landed in the top-30 with a personal record time of 21:30.5
 
UP NEXT
Northern will take on the NSIC Championships next on November 5. Competition kicks off at 10 a.m. with the men's 8k, followed by the women's 6k at 11:15 a.m. from the Wayne Country Club. For full championship information visit the NSIC webpage HERE.
