ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State's Jackson Harrison (men's cross country) and Lilja Davidsdottir (soccer) have been named as the South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.
 
Harrison ran to an eighth place finish at the Roy Griak Invite 8k, where he crossed the finish line in 25:53.60 as the top NSIC finisher in the race. He finished just over five seconds off his personal best in the 8k.
 
Davidsdottir scored her first two career goals this weekend in a victory over Wayne State and tie with Augustana. She played a key role in holding the WSC offense to only six shot attempts and scored the game-winning goal in the 54^th minute. Davidsdottir ended the weekend by scoring the game-tying goal in the 81^st minute against AU.
