- Paige Hutton gained control of a pass from Megan Fastenau off a Northern corner kick in the 54th minute to put the Wolves on the board first
- The Beavers tied the game in the 75th minute with a goal by Sara Wendt who was assisted by Megan Dahl
- In the 85th minute Alexus Townsend made a diving save to keep the game tied, stopping the breakaway attack of Allyson Smith
- Sara Wendt netted the game winning goal for Bemidji State with only 53 seconds remaining in the match, knocking it in off the Maggie Cade corner kick
- The BSU offensive attack was dominant all night, they out-shot NSU 17-9 (9-4 in shots-on-goal) and held the advantage in corner kicks 8-3
