Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 19 Northern State University volleyball team went 1-1 on day two on the NSU Volleyball Classic, falling to South Dakota Mines and taking down MSU Moorhead. Both matches went to four sets, with the Wolves improving to 4-3 on the year.

- Moorhead jumped to it early, notching a 25-21 victory to open the match
- The Wolves quickly bounced back, taking the next three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 25-15
- Northern hit .174 in the win, recording 60 kills, 57 assists, 83 digs, seven aces, and seven blocks
- Defensively, they held the Dragons to a .071 attack percentage, forcing 22 total hitting errors
- Sally Gaul led three in double figures offensively with 17 kills, while Havyn Heinz notched a team best 18 digs
- Keri Walker dished out 50 assists, averaging 12.50 per set
