Austin, Texas – Northern State University graduate
Parker Fox was honored on the CoSIDA Academic All-America® team this morning. Fox is the second men's basketball student-athlete to be honored on the All-America team, in addition to former teammate DJ Pollard.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Division II Academic All-America® teams program.
Fox graduated with a bachelors in Sport Management, maintaining a 3.81 cumulative GPA. He averaged 22.3 points per game, as well as 9.9 rebounds per game. Fox shot 64.4% from the field and tallied 74 blocks, 49 assists, and 37 steals. He became a member of the Northern State 1,000 point club in 2021 and earned four NSIC North Division Player of the Week awards and one National Player of the Week honor. Fox was named to the NSIC/Sanford Health and NCAA Central Region All-Tournament teams.
Fox concluded his NSU career as the NSIC North Division Defensive Player of the Year, Player of the Year, and a first team all-conference honoree. In addition, he was named to the NABC and D2CCA All-America teams; the first men's basketball All-American since 2009.
