Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team brought all levels of the game on Sunday notching ten runs, seven hits, and perfect defense in their win over Minot State.
Seth Brewer tossed a gem and the Wolves defense held strong.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ramon Vega Jr. opened the game with a bang, blasting a homerun to left in the bottom of the first
- Ben Carolin led off the third with a walk and put the Wolves up 2-0, on a wild pitch by Minot reliever Bagshaw
- The Wolves then added a three spot in the fourth with runs from Bryce Krattiger, Jack Paulson, and Carolin
- NSU continued to power through the Minot State offense and the Wolves secured the run-rule victory in the bottom of the sixth notching five runs
- Isaiah Chevalier and Austin Portner scored on a single by Justin Hutter, who then came around to score on an error by the Beaver second basemen
- Spencer Sarringar plated the final two runs of the inning for NSU, scoring Vega Jr. on a homerun to right centerfield
- It was all Seth Brewer on the hill, the senior allowed just one Minot State batter on base, throwing a no hitter with nine strikeouts for his fifth win of the season
