Manheim, Pa. – The National Wrestling Coaches' Association released the 2021 Division II Scholar All-America teams and individuals today. Northern State ranked seventh on the team list with a 3.327 GPA and landed 12 individuals Wolves honored.
 
Northern was the second highest ranked NSIC program on the teams listing, behind Augustana.
 
In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.4 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.
 
Notching Scholar All-America for NSU was Ty Althoff, Robert Coyle III, Billy Holtan, Cole Huss, Dayne Morton, Kolton Roth, Jordan Stenzel, Tyson Stoebner, Sam Stroup, Garret Thompson, Josh Trumble, and Wyatt Turnquist.
