Mankato, Minn. – The Northern State University baseball team fell twice on the road at Minnesota State Tuesday afternoon. The Wolves now look to begin a 15-game home stand this Friday and Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern State scored first in the top of the third, as Karson Hesser led off the inning with a single through the right side and scored on a bases loaded walk
- The Mavericks gained the lead in the bottom of the fourth, scoring two runs and adding another two in the bottom of the fifth
- The Wolves cut into the lead in the sixth on a single to left by Spencer Sarringar scoring Justin Hutter who led off the inning with a single
- NSU recorded two runs on five hits, with one error defensively
- Brian Baker started for the Wolves and suffered the loss, giving up two runs on three hits in 3.1 innings of work

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Karson Hesser scored the first for the second straight game, notching a run in the top of the second
- The Mavericks tied the contest in the bottom of the frame and added three runs in the third, one in the fifth, and four in the sixth
- The Wolves tallied one run on four hits, with two errors defensively
- Taite Hensley suffered the loss for the Wolves, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits in 2.2 innings of work
