Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Parker Fox (men's basketball) and Justin Hutter (baseball) have been named the NSU Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week in the NCAA Central Region Tournament and versus Wayne State College. The NSU Athletes of the Week award is sponsored by the South Dakota Army National Guard.
 
Fox led Northern State averaging 27.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in their two Central Region games versus MSU Moorhead and Northwest Missouri State. He shot 74.2% from the floor, adding nine made free throws. In addition, Fox tallied ten blocks, three assists, and one steal in the two games. He was also named to the Central Region All-Tournament team.
 
Hutter led Northern State hitting .400 versus Wayne State College. He tallied four hits, including three doubles, and added two runs score and three RBI. Hutter hit a weekend best 2-for-4 with two doubles in the Sunday contest. Finally, he recorded three putouts and two assists defensively without an error.
