How to watch
  • Live results: www.results.dakotatiming.com
  • Admission: $5.00 for adults and middle and high school aged students; grade school students $3.00; under 5 free.

Storylines
  • Northern is coming off a 2020-21 indoor season that saw the women's team finish fifth at the NSIC Championships in late February. The men's team was a close fourth in those standings.
  • The Wolves will have a partial squad of approximately 45 athletes in action this weekend.

Men's storylines
  • Northern will return the services of NSIC record holder and NCAA Division II All-American Tanner Berg, who returns after taking his Covid season, but is not bereft of other returning talent, including a corps of young sprinters. The Wolves finished second in last year's NSIC indoor meet in the 4x100-meter relay. That group included two sophomores (Tafara Hondonga and Ronald Stephenson) and two freshmen (including Seth Martens, who was the Wolves' NSIC Athlete to Watch this season).
  • Jackson Harrison is back to anchor the distance runners for the Wolves.
  • Glen Quayle, a freshman, is also expected to have an impact in the pole vault.
  • NSU was picked to finish fourth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches Poll.

Women's storylines
  • Kealy Hill, also a senior, is back, as well, after finishing in a tie for third.
  • Shona Juliana was eighth last season in the triple jump in indoor and fifth during the outdoor season. She was also second in the outdoor long jump.
  • Incoming freshman Renee Taylor is expected to contribute, as well. Taylor is a hurdler/sprinter for the Northern women's squad.
  • The Wolves were picked fifth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches Poll.
