Indianapolis – James Burks led the Northern State University wrestling team from the Midwest Classic, placing second at 157-pounds. Wyatt Turnquist, Landen Fischer, and Kolton Roth were also in competition, with Turnquist notching a fourth place finish.

• Fischer ended his weekend in the consolation rounds, falling to Isaiah DeLeCerda of Adams State in a 6-2 decision
• Roth dropped his consolation match to Sean Johnson of American International by fall
• Turnquist fell in the semifinal round, in a 4-2 decision versus Dominic Means of Gannon, however battled his way back to the third place match
