HOW IT HAPPENED

• Northern State jumped out to an early 7-6 advantage in the first quarter, but Central Missouri used a 14-0 run to get to a 13 point lead midway through the period
• Back-to-back 3-pointers by Jordyn Hilgemann and Halle Heinz in the final 30 seconds of the first half cut the UCM lead to 17 points at halftime
• Northern extended their scoring run with seven straight to start the second half, getting to within ten points at 45-35
• Northern State shot 45% in the third quarter to out-score Central Missouri 21-14 in the period
• NSU held the advantage in points off turnovers (14-2), second chance points (14-7), bench points (14-7), and points in the paint (28-22)
