Aberdeen, SD. – After going down 9-3 to start the dual, the Northern State University wrestling team battled back for their first victory of the season. The Wolves tallied eight match victories, including three pin falls in the dual.

    » Brenden Salfrank started the Wolves off with their first win of the night, earning the team's first points of the night
    » The Cobbers made a quick turnaround though, taking the 133-pound and 141-pound weight classes by way of pin fall and decision, going up 9-3 on the Wolves
    » The Wolves would then go on and eight match win streak to close out the night
    » Wyatt Turnquist and James Burks had back-to-back pin falls in the 149-pound and 157-pound matches
    » Joshua Trumble closed out the night with the teams third pin fall in the 285-pound bout
    » Northern kicks off the season 1-0 at home and looks to carry that momentum into the Bison Open next week
