Burnsville, Minn. – Northern State University junior Brennan Kutterer was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week earlier today. He is the first defensive player of the week for the Wolves this season.

- Led the NSIC last weekend with 16 tackles in NSU's 33-27 victory over MSU Moorhead
- Recorded 11 solo stops and five assisted tackles, as well as a pass break-up
- Tallied 2.5 tackles for a loss of five yards, bringing his season total to 9.5
- Moved into the team lead for total tackles this season and sits top-10 in the NSIC in total tackles (69) and tackles for a loss (9.0)
