Hunter Trautman (football) and
Haley Osborne (swimming) have been named as the South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week for their athletic efforts last week.

Trautman led Northern State to a 52-49 victory at Winona State, throwing for 418 yards and five touchdowns. He completed 32-of-47 passing attempts without an interception, averaging 13.1 yards per completion During the game he tied the Northern State career record for passing touchdowns, and added 16 yards rushing and one rushing touchdown. Trautman leads the NSIC in average passing yards per game (342.7), total yards (2056), and passing touchdowns (24).

Osborne won her first two collegiate events of her career in a dual against MSU Moorhead. She won the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 55.35, and the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 2:01.84. Osborne was also a part of the second place 400 yard freestyle relay team that finished with a time of 3:42.32.
