Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 2 ranked Northern State men's basketball team (8-0, 6-0 NSIC North) is set to host the Bulldogs of Minnesota Duluth (2-3, 1-3 NSIC North) at 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday from Wachs Arena.
300 general admission tickets will be sold for each contest on a first come first serve basis. Northern State athletics began pre-selling tickets on Tuesday, however tickets are still available at this time. All remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the North Entrance to the Barnett Center, approximately 30 minutes prior to tip-off.

The Wolves enter the weekend ranked as the second-best team in the nation for the third straight week, receiving two first-place votes. NSU is averaging over 79 points per game and holds an average margin of victory of 15.6 points.
Northern is led by junior forward
Parker Fox, the 3-time NSIC North Division Player of the Week and reigning USBWA Division II National Player of the Week. Fox is averaging a double-double on the season, leading the team in four major statistical categories recording 20.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.3 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.
Starting guards
Mason Stark and
Tommy Chatman are also averaging double figures this season, notching 17.1 and 10.4 points per contest respectively.
Andrew Kallman leads the team in assists and junior forward
Jordan Belka leads the NSIC in 3-point shooting percentage (52.6%) to round out Northern's starting lineup.
NSU is 29-42 all-time against the Bulldogs and split the season series in 2019-20 as UMD was responsible for one of the Wolves' two home losses by a score of 79-87. Northern won the rematch in Duluth 85-73, a win that proved pivotal in securing the regular-season title.
Minnesota Duluth is on a 3-game losing streak after starting the season 2-0, and enters the weekend sixth in the NSIC North standings. The Bulldogs are led by sophomore guard Drew Blair who is averaging 20.8 points per game on 41.3% shooting.
The Wolves look to stay atop the North division standings and remain in prime position for their fourth-straight NSIC title, as the conference approaches the half-way point of the regular season.
