Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University winter athletic teams are back in action following the cancelations and delays of seasons due to COVID-19, however fans and families may not always be able to watch the Wolves in person. Northern State Athletics, nsuwolves.com, the NSIC Network, and Hub City Radio have fans covered for keeping up with the NSU teams all season long. Full information on each of the services and how to access them on your favorite devices is outlined below.
Live Webcast through the NSIC Network
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in partnership with BlueFrame Technologies announced the new NSIC Network for 2020-21. For fans to watch the Wolves on their favorite device (similar to in years past), they must first download the new NSIC Network app by searching "NSIC Network". In addition, fans can watch online at
nsicnetwork.com/nsuwolves. The interface will look a bit different on both a computer and NSIC Network App, however the functionality is still the same.
Fans looking to follow just the Wolves on their Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV (4th Generation), or Roku devices have the option to select Northern State as a favorite for quicker access to only events involving NSU. To favorite the Wolves channel, open the app on your device > scroll down to sites > check Northern State University > exit back to the main screen > select the new NSU option under sites to view the Wolves upcoming games and events [pictured below].

Navigating COVID-19 at Northern State Home Events
Northern State University and Northern State Athletics have developed protocols and standards in regards to home attendance at Wolves events during the COVID-19 Pandemic that can be viewed at
nsuwolves.com/covid/fans. Game programs and other pertinent game day information, such as promotions and live coverage, can be found at
nsuwolves.com/gameday.
Important items to note is that attendance will be limited to 25% capacity. The current high priority population for admittance will be: Wolves Club members (season ticket holders), suite holders, NSU students, NSU team parents/families via passbook, and visiting team parents/families/fans. Additional game day ticket availability will be publicized at the start of each week based upon current trends and availability. There will be very limited game day or walk-up ticket sales.
Per the South Dakota Board of Regents face covering policy, face coverings are required to be worn in all public indoor spaces on campus at all times and per the NSIC Winter Sports Competition Plan, masking is required for all spectators in attendance, regardless of state and local guidance. The only exception is student-athletes actively engaging in competition and when spectators are eating or drinking for a limited period of time.
Northern State University & NSU Athletics are following CDC guidelines to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19. NSU asks all individuals to follow these prevention tips:
- Practice safe social distancing, keeping at least 6 feet between individuals at all times.
- Wash hands thoroughly and sanitize equipment after use.
- Wear a mask and/or gloves when possible.
- Stay home if you are sick, especially if you are experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath.
