HOW IT HAPPENED

• Seton Hill struck first in the bottom of the second taking a 1-0 lead over the Wolves
• Northern answered in the third inning with a run of their own after Isaiah Chevalier drove in Tyler Hair on a single to the shortstop
• The Wolves allowed two runs in the fourth on a double to right center and a single to center field giving the Griffins the 3-1 lead
• NSU was unable to hold the deficit to two runs in the sixth, as SHU scored six runs on three hits, including a grand slam
• Northern State scored one run on a double to left field by Chad Hinkle before adding an unearned run on an error in the eighth
• The Griffins tallied two runs in the seventh and one in the eighth on a homerun taking a  12-3
• Northern tallied three runs, seven hits, without giving up an error defensively

• Seth Brewer was credited with the loss giving up six runs, two walks, and striking out five SHU batters in hits 5.1 innings of work
