Burnsville, Minn. – In the fourth NSIC Indoor Track and Field release of the season, Northern State junior Tanner Berg was named the field athlete of the week. This is the third straight honor for the Wolf in 2020.
 
NSIC Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Tanner Berg (Throws, Jr., Watertown, S.D. / Watertown HS)
- Recorded the nation's top mark in the weight throw at 70-6.5 (21.50m) at the DWU Alumni Meet
- Broke his own school record for the second time this season with the automatic qualifying mark
- In addition to the school record, tallied the facility and meet record in the event
- Added a fifth place finish in the shot put 46-11.5 (14.31m)
- Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the third week in row
