Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 23 Northern State University wrestling team continues NSIC competition tomorrow evening at No. 23 Minot State University. The Wolves and Beavers are currently each ranked 23^rd in the recent NWCA Top-25 Poll. Competition kicks off at 7 p.m. in Minot.
 
QUICK HITS ON THE WOLVES

• Northern enters their sixth NSIC dual of the season with a 7-6 record overall and 1-4 mark in the league
• NSU is currently ranked No. 23 in the nation and No. 5 in Super Region 5
• The nationally ranked wrestlers include No. 5 James Burks (157), No. 10 Caden Moore (149), and No. 11 Marcus Placide (184)
• The regionally ranked Wolves include No. 6 Dayne Morton (133), No. 6 Kenny Jones (141), No. 4 Moore (149), No. 2 Burks (157), No. 4 Billy Holtan (165), No. 2 Placide (184), and No. 6 Caleb Lefferdink (285)
• The Wolves are coming off a 2-1 weekend from the UNK Midwest Duals with wins over (RV) New Mexico Highlands and No. 22 Fort Hays State
• Five Northern State starters have double figure wins this season led by Marcus Placide with a 22-4 record this season
• Dayne Morton follows with a 17-4 record, while Caden Moore, Kenny Jones, and James Burks are 16-4, 16-9, and 15-2 respectively
• Burks is the only undefeated Wolf in NSIC action with a 5-0 record

• Minot State enters the weekend with a 4-5 record overall and 1-3 mark in the NSIC
