- NSU fell behind early at home tonight after the first ten minutes of play where they found themselves in a 12 point deficit
- The Wolves shot only 35.71% from the floor in the first quarter and 37.50% in the second quarter heading to the locker rooms at half time down 26- 35
- Northern came out in the third quarter scoring 18 points and shooting 58.33% from the floor
- The Wolves ended the third quarter going on a 13-0 run that started with four minutes and 54 seconds left in the quarter
- The two-point deficit that NSU now had in hand quickly changed to a five-point deficit after a three-point shot went in for the Huskies with less than one second left
- The Wolves bench outscored the Huskies bench 21-6 in the contest
- NSU also scored five-second chance points and 19 points off turnovers
- In the paint, Northern kept St. Cloud to only 24 points
