HIGHLIGHTS
- The Wolves shot a season-low in the first quarter of 6.67% from the floor as they were only able to score four points
- NSU kept the game close despite not shooting the best only allowing UMD to score 12 points in the first ten minutes of play
- Northern turned a corner in the second quarter shooting 33.33% from the floor scoring 13 points
- Allowing the Bulldogs to score only nine points and kept them to shooting 28.75% from the floor
- In the Second half combined the Wolves scored 22 points and shooting 26.6% from the floor in the third and fourth quarter combined
- Northern was unable to find the net from distance until the fourth quarter with 6:40 left in the game that came off the hands of Brianna Kusler
- The Wolves were able to score more second-chance points than the Bulldogs with eight
- Northern State's bench also chipped in with ten points keeping the bench of Minnesota Duluth to only five points

Northern State women's basketball is back in action next weekend for another year of the famous I Hate Winter in Wachs Arena. The Wolves will face Concordia-St. Paul at 5:30 p.m. on Friday then Minnesota State at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
