Fayette, Iowa - The National Wrestling Coaches Association released today the third regular season national rankings of the year. The Northern State University wrestling team came in at No. 23 with three wrestlers ranked individually.
James Burks led the way for the Wolves sitting at No. 5 at 157 pounds, followed by
Caden Moore (149) and
Marcus Placide (184) ranked at No. 10 and No. 11 respectively. Moore has remained ranked throughout the 2019-20 season, while Burks and Placide remain in the top-11 of their weights for the second ranking in a row.
In addition, seven Wolves are ranked regionally as the team sits at No. 5 in Super Region 5. The regionally ranked Wolves include No. 6

Kenny Jones (141), No. 4 Moore (149), No. 2 Burks (157), No. 4
Billy Holtan (165), No. 2 Placide (184), and No. 6
