Wolves Baseball Announces Winter Camp Schedule

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team will host three camps this February. Northern is set to host their annual youth and hitting camps, as well as a one day pitching camp. The youth camp will take place from the Presentation College dome, while the hitting and pitching camps will run from the Barnett Center. 
 
The camp series will open on February 15 with the pitching camp, followed by the youth camp on the 17th and hitting camp on the 23rd. Cost of each camp is $40 per participant. Full camp information for each portion can be found below. 


 
Campers are encouraged to mark all of their equipment and to bring a glove, tennis shoes, and sweat pants or baseball pants. Participants can register through the online form and bring payment the day of camp. Checks can be made payable to NSU Baseball Camp. In addition to payment, all campers must bring the NSU Baseball Camps Waiver form with them on the first day of camp.


 
Youth Camp:
This camp features general baseball skill instruction including hitting, defense, pitching and base running. Campers will learn the game of baseball in all facets, with the camp open to all skill levels. Campers will work directly with Northern State coaches and players.

Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Hitting Camp
This camp is designed to develop and build on existing basic fundamentals. Hitting will include tips, drills and constructive feedback from NSU coaches and players.

Grades: Boys and Girls, 4-12
Location: Barnett Center
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $40

Pitching Camp
Get a jump start on your catching and pitching skills for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. The academy is focused on arm care, proper mechanics, and drill work for both pitchers and catchers.
Date: February 15
Grades: Boys and Girls, 4-12
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Location: Barnett Center
