Sioux Falls, S.D. – The Northern State University cross country teams opened the season this evening from the Augustana Twilight running against both NCAA Division I and II competition. The Wolves women took tenth overall with an average time of 19:29.77 in the 5k, while the men took 11^th with an average time of 20:40.37 in the 4-mile run.  
 
MEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Riccardo Done led the way for the men finishing in the top-20 with a time of 19:50.12
• He was the fifth finisher amongst NSIC competitors
• Jackson Harrison found himself in the top-50 crossing the line at 20:15.11
• Jalen Chase, Donovan Miller, and Logan Swenson rounded out the Wolves top-5 with times of 20:31.91, 21:18.44, and 21:26.27

 
WOMEN
HIGHLIGHTS

• Jordyn Sterud led the way for the Northern State women with a time of 19:05.88 in the top-50
• Abberly Smith and Megan Mooberry followed with times of 19:30.84 and 19:32.49 respectively
• Livia Wallace and Jennifer Clark rounded out the Wolves top-5 finishing in 19:35.50 and 19:44.10

Northern State returns to action next Friday from the SDSU Cross Country Classic in Brookings. Race start is set for 6 p.m. for the women and 6:35 p.m. for the men.
