Glenham, S.D. – Northern State Athletics hosted a successful 30^th annual Wolves on the Water walleye fishing tournament this past Saturday, June 1 from New Evarts Resort and Walth Bay. The team of Drew Hermes, Shaun Hermes, and Greg Handebond took home to top prize with a total of 24.27 pounds of fish.
 
The team of Quintin Schlomer, Corey Fiedler, and Levi Duncan took a close second with 20.78 pounds of fish, as the only other team to surpass the 20 pound mark. Marcus Quam, Shawn Schmidt, and Carolyn Kimble rounded out the top three with a weight of 18.78.
 
The largest walleye of the day, which weighed in at 10.55 pounds, was caught by the team of Jim Scarlett, Bob Scarlett, and Dave Aukes. The team of Matt Behm, Mike Hoesing, and Scott VanBuren won the rough fish competition with a 10.95 pound carp.
