Bemidji, Minn - The Northern State University baseball team closed out the three game series with a victory over Bemidji State by a final of 7-4. Wolves improve to 17-20 on the season and 12-14 in the NSIC.

How It Happened:
  • Chad Hinkle doubled in Justin Barreneche in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead.
  • Mikey Adams also drove in a run in the first on a groundout to second base that scored Hayden Houts.
  • Spencer Sarringar started the second inning with a solo home run to extend the lead to 3-0.
  • The Wolves added two more runs in the bottom of the third with a two run double from Pezonella.
  • Bemidji State scored two runs in the top of the fourth inning to cut the lead to 5-2.
  • Northern State added two runs in the bottom of the Pezonella single that scored Mikey Adams and Chad Hinkle.
  • The Beavers did not quit as they brought up the tying run to the plate but got the runner got thrown out at home to end the game.
