- Chad Hinkle doubled in Justin Barreneche in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead.
- Mikey Adams also drove in a run in the first on a groundout to second base that scored Hayden Houts.
- Spencer Sarringar started the second inning with a solo home run to extend the lead to 3-0.
- The Wolves added two more runs in the bottom of the third with a two run double from Pezonella.
- Bemidji State scored two runs in the top of the fourth inning to cut the lead to 5-2.
- Northern State added two runs in the bottom of the Pezonella single that scored Mikey Adams and Chad Hinkle.
- The Beavers did not quit as they brought up the tying run to the plate but got the runner got thrown out at home to end the game.
