Ryszard Gorski announced today the signing of ten student-athletes via National Letters of Intent. Malia Braiedy (Champlin, Minn.), Chloe Jensen (St. Michael, Minn.), Paige Johnson (Park Rapids, Minn.), Calista Kocmick (Brandon, S.D.), Ellie McCormick (Mahtomedi, Minn.), Abbey Radermacher (Maple Grove, Minn.), Jessi Ryman (Maple Grove, Minn.), Kelsey Selden (Prairie du Sac, Wis.), Alexa Sutherland (Cambridge, Minn.), and Mia Zagorski (Lakeville, Minn.) will join the Wolves next fall.
"The 2020 recruits are official," exclaimed Gorksi. "This class exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete in all aspects. All these women exhibit the self-discipline, dedication, and commitment necessary to be successful in the classroom and on the pitch. This Midwestern-based group will represent Northern State and their region with pride, and we could not be more excited to introduce the newest members of the Wolf pack. The coaching staff will continue to look to add to this class in the coming months as we evolve the soccer program to be a contender for the NSIC championship year in and year out."

Malia Braiedy is a goalkeeper out of Champlin Park High School. She is a 4-year starter for the Rebels under the direction of head coach Keith Pavelka. In 2019, Braiedy recorded eight shutouts and 64 saves, with an 83.0 save percentage. She is a 3-time all-conference honoree, all-state runner-up, and all-state second team selection. As a senior, Braiedy was named a MaxPreps Player of the Week. She is a member of the Maplebrook Ajax Premier that has won back-to-back State Cup Championships. She is the daughter of Traci and Treavor Braiedy.

Chloe Jensen is an outside midfielder out of St. Michael-Albertville High School. She is a 2-year starter for the SMA Knights. Jensen tallied 11 goals and 13 assists in her two seasons with the program, earning all-conference honorable mention accolades in 2018. St. Michael-Albertville won back-to-back conference championships and made two appearances at the Minnesota State Tournament. She is the daughter of Brent and Darcy Jensen.

Paige Johnson is a center defender out of Park Rapids Area High School. She is a 6-year member of the Bemidji Extreme soccer club under the direction of Rock Toward. Bemidji is the 5-time Shakopee Tournament Champions, the 2017 Father Hennipen Tournament Champions, the 2018 Blaine Tournament Champions, and 2019 Fishback Tournament Champions. She is the daughter of Heidi and Scott Johnson.

Calista Kocmick is a center midfielder out of Brandon Valley High School. She is a 3-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Lynx under the direction of head coach Jacob Shoup. Kocmick recorded ten goals and 12 assists in her prep career. She is a 2-time all-conference selection, first team all-state honoree, and academic all-state recipient. She is the daughter of Jim and Jane Kocmick.

Ellie McCormick is a midfielder out of Mahtomedi High School. She is a starter for the Zephyr under the direction of head coach Dave Wald. McCormick combined for four goals and ten assists in her junior and senior campaigns. Mahtomedi won the Minnesota State Championship in 2017 and 2018, while also advancing to the State Tournament in 2019.

Abbey Radermacher is a midfielder and defender out of Maple Grove Senior High. She is a starter for the Crimson under the direction of head coach Ben Levahn. In 2019, Radermacher tallied three assists as the team's center back. Maple Grove made back-to-back state tournament appearances, winning the Minnesota State Championship in 2019. Radermacher is a member of the Maplebrook Ajax Premier that has won back-to-back State Cup Championships. She is the daughter of Rob and Michelle Radermacher.

Jessi Ryman is a defender out of Maple Grove Senior High. Ryman is also a member of the Maplebrook and Salvo DA programs. Her teams have twice won the President's Cup Championship in 2018 and 2019, and were the 2018 regional runners-up. She is the daughter of Jen and Drake Ryman.

Kelsey Selden is a center midfielder out of Sauk Prairie High School. She is a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Eagles under the direction of head coach Mike Rauls. Selden tallied 40 career goals and 25 career assists for Sauk Prairie. She is a 3-time all-conference selection and 2019 all-state honorable mention pick. Sauk Prairie won the 2019 Region Championship and was a sectional finalist. She is the daughter of Rita and Steve Selden.

Alexa Sutherland is a forward/midfielder out of Cambridge-Isanti High School. She is a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Bluejackets under the direction of head coach Michael Galligan. Sutherland tallied 27 goals and 15 assists in her career. She is a 3-time all-conference honoree, 2-time all-conference academic team member, and a 2018 MN Soccer Coaches Association Academic Excellence Award recipient. Sutherland was the leading goal scorer for the Bluejackets the past two seasons. She is the daughter of Luke and Holly Sutherland.

Mia Zagorski is a center midfielder out of Lakeville South High School. She is a 2-year starter for the Cougars under the direction of head coach Olivia Mehlhorn. Zagorski led Lakeville South in assists in 2019, racking up 15 assists and three goals in her career. She is an all-conference honorable mention selection. As a member of the Salvo Soccer Club, Zagorski has 23 goals and 19 assists. She is the daughter of Mike and Angie Zagorski.
