Three Wolves Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District® Teams

The 2019 Academic All-District® Football and Volleyball Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. A total of three Northern State Wolves were honored on the two lists including Dakota Larson, Zach Mohs, and Ashley Rozell.
 
Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 9-12.
 
Larson is an Environmental Sciences major at Northern State with a 3.88 GPA. The sophomore has started all ten games for the Wolves this season at wide receiver. He has 818 yards rushing and 55 yards rushing thus far with six touchdowns. Larson has recorded four 100-yard games this season. He also adds 165 kick return yards with a season high 36 versus Wayne State College. Larson leads the Northern State offense this season with 1,038 all-purpose yards.
 
Mohs is a Biology and Chemistry major at Northern State with a 3.98 GPA. The senior started the opening eight games for the season prior to an injury. He is 19 total tackles on the year, including 11 solo stops. In addition, Mohs has recorded 1.5 tackles for a loss of three yards and one interception with a 38-yard return. He also has one fumbled recovery this season.
 
Rozell is a Business Management and Marketing major at Northern State with a 3.94 GPA. The senior became the Northern State all-time assists leader earlier this season, with 4,968 career assists thus far. She has dished out 1,125 this season and ranks fourth in nation averaging 12.10 per set. In addition, she sits top-10 nationally in total assists and has paced the Northern State offense to a national second best attack percentage of .294. This is the third Academic All-District® honor of her career.
 
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
