Wolves Hit the Road for NSIC Championships Tomorrow

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State cross country teams are set for the NSIC Championships this weekend, hosted by Wayne State College. Race start times are schedule for 11 a.m. (women's 6k) and 12:15 p.m. (men's 8k) from the Wayne Country Club.
 
QUICK HITS ON THE WOLVES
  • Northern State last competed at the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, September 28th
  • The NSU women finished 16th as a team, while the men took 14th
  • Jackson Harrison was the top finisher for the men with a time of 26:36.30
  • Jordyn Sterud was the top finisher on the women's side with a time of 24:35.10
  • The Wolves were scheduled to compete in the SCSU Bob Waxlax Classic on October 11, however the meet was cancelled due to poor course conditions
 
A SEASON AGO
  • The Northern State men took eighth from the 2018 championships, while the women took seventh
  • Livia Wallace is the top returner for the Wolves from the race, finishing with a time of 23:28.1 in 41st overall
  • Riccardo Done was the top finisher for the men, crossing the line at 25:50.50 in 29th overall
 
ABOUT THE NSIC CHAMPIONSHIPS
  • Admission is free to all fans and attendees
  • Places 1-10 will receive first team all-conference honors
  • Places 11-20 will receive second team all-conference honors
