Madison, S.D. – The Northern State University cross-country teams competed in the Herb Blakely Invite. The men and women won the team scoring 21 and 15 points respectively. Senior
Paige Larson led all women in the race with a 20:00.0 time. Finishing in second place on the men's side was
Riccardo Done with a time of 26:30.0.
NSU had the top three times in the women's race, finishing in second place with a time of 20:21.0 was
Livia Wallace.
Megan Mooberry finished in third place with a time of 20:26.0.
Madison Leapaldt and
Jordyn Sterud finished fifth and sixth with a time of 20:32.0 and 20:43.0 respectively.
Jennifer Clark rounded out the top ten with a time of 21:17.0.
Jorge Garcia finished in third place with a time of 26:48.0, Freshman
Jackson Harrison finished in fifth place with a finishing time of 27:02.0.
Tanner Peltier finished in eighth place with a finishing time of 27:39.0. Rounding out the top ten was freshman
Jacob Hernandez with a finishing time of 27:53.0.
The Wolves will be back in action as they travel to Minneapolis, Minn. for the Roy Griak Invite on Sept. 29. The men's race starts at 11:10 a.m. and 12:15 start for the women.
