Sioux Falls, S.D. – The No. 6 Northern State University men's basketball team will face Ferris State on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the NCAA Division II National Championship game. Northern advances to their first NCAA Division II title game in school history in the sport. Full fan information will be updated as it become available. Fans in attendance are encouraged to continue to wear maroon.
The year 2000 was the last time a team advanced to the national title game in their home state, when Kentucky Wesleyan faced Metro State from Louisville. The Northern State community will also look to pack the Pentagon for the third straight contest, as NSU as played in front of 6,364 fans in the quarter and semifinal rounds of the NCAA Elite Eight.
NSU Alumni and Friends Pre-Game Social
The Northern State University foundation will host a pre-game event at the Crooked Pint Ale House (2020 W Russell St.) in Sioux Falls from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday.
