Wolves Soccer grabs a road victory at Minnesota Crookston

Crookston, Minn. – The Northern State Soccer team picked up win number nine on the season with a 3-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston. With the victory, NSU improves to 9-7-1 overall and 7-6-1 in the conference.
 
Northern State started the scoring early with a goal in the ninth minute with a goal from Shianne Rosselli, her fifth of the season of an assist from Stephany Estrada. The Wolves finished the first half with four shots on goal and only allowing four shots on goal in the first half.
 
Northern State picked up back-to-back goals within a minute of the match. The first goal was scored at the 62:35 point of the game with a goal from Darian Leschewski with an assist from Teya Trujillo. Shianne Rosselli picked up her second goal of the game at the 63:07 point of the match with an assist from Leschewski.
 
Northern State tallied 20 shots in the match with nine being on target, three corner kicks, and six fouls. Rosselli lead the team with two goals and three shots on goal. Estrada and Trujillo each tallied a shot on goal and one assist. Leschewski pickup up her sixth goal of the season and one assist in the match. Jessica Otto picked up her second straight match with a shutout picking up eight saves.
 
NSU returns home for the senior day as they host #8 Bemidji State at the Athletic and Recreation Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. against the Beavers.
