Aberdeen, S.D. – A late first half goal by Augustana is enough to squeak past the Wolves Friday night by a score of 1-0. With the loss, the Wolves drop to 6-6-1 on the season and 4-5-1 in NSIC play.
 
Karli Harney received two shots on goal in the first half but saves were made by the Vikings goalie. Later in the first half, Shianne Rosselli took a shot on goal. With 15 seconds left in the first half Jessica Otto made a great save but the defection found its way to an Augustana player and she put the ball into the back of the net.
 
Stephany Estrada picked up two shots on goal early in the second half. Harney took her third shot on net in the match half way through the second half. Rosselli tallied her second shot on goal at the 79:48 part of the match. Northern State finished the match with seven shots on goal. Harney led the team with three shots on goal, Estrada and Rosselli each tallied two in the match. Otto picked up 16 save in the match on 17 shots on goal by the Vikings.
 
Northern State returns to the pitch Sunday afternoon for the annual pink game against Wayne State. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. against the Wildcats.
