Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team will host Augustana and Wayne State this weekend during Gypsy Days.   NSU will first face Augie at 3:30 p.m. Friday and then on Sunday match up against WSC.  For the full Gypsy Days schedule click here.   

Last week, Northern suffered close losses to St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth which put their season record 3-4 overall and 2-3 in conference play.  Mallory Schoenhard registered one shot and one goal during the game against the Huskies, and Justine Charles tallied 16 saves on the weekend, which brings her season total to 45 saves.  Alison Byrd leads NSU with 13 shots, six shots on goal, and one goal, while Stephany Estrada follows with six shots and three shots on goal. 
About Augustana

• Augie has an overall record of 5-1-2 and a conference record of 4-0-1.
• As a team, the Vikings have registered 75 shot on goal attempts, and averages 19.2 shots per game.
• Samantha Tymkowicz leads Augie with 26 shots, 12 shots on goal, and two goals during the 2017 season. 
• Ellie Knowles follows Tymkowicz with 27 shots, 12 shots on goal, and one goal this season.
