Wolves Wrap-Up Regular Season Play Against the Beavers and Marauders

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team will wrap-up regular season play against Minot State University and University of Mary this Friday and Sunday. NSU will first face the Beavers at 3 p.m. from Jerde Field on Friday. The Wolves will then travel to Bismarck, N.D. to face U-Mary at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Friday will be senior day for the Wolves soccer team as they honor Justine Charles, Taven Morrison, Nicole Griffith, Sydney Shintaffer, Alison Byrd, and Alexis Lewis

Last weekend, NSU endured two overtime battles with the Wolves falling to the Winona State 3-2 and defeating Upper Iowa 2-1. Sydney Shintaffer registered four shots and two goals on the weekend, one of which was the game-winning goal against UIU. Shianne Rosselli totaled three shots and one goal bringing her season total to 25 shots, ten shots on goal, and three goals.  Justine Charles tallied 18 saves on the weekend bringing her season total to 93 saves.
