Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team fell to MSU Moorhead 32-8 in Thursday NSIC action. The Wolves drop to 5-11 overall and 0-5 in NSIC duals.
 
Tyler Stenberg notched the first points of the evening for NSU, defeating Isaac Novacek in a 15-4 major decision. Stenberg battle Novacek tallying points in each of the three periods. In all the junior recorded five takedowns, two escapes, and a two point nearfall. Stenberg improves to 10-1 in duals and 3-1 in league competition.
 
Joe Gomez rounded out wrestling for the night, defeating Michael Urban in a 10-1 major decision match. Gomez tallied a takedown in each period, while raking up minutes of riding time. He was too much for Urban physically as he improved to 14-2 in duals this season and 4-1 in the NSIC.
 
Northern will return to action this Saturday for a 2 p.m. match at Chadron State. The Wolves will then wrestle their final home duals versus Minnesota State and Dickson State, next Thursday and Saturday.
