Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 20 Northern State University volleyball team will conclude the NSIC regular season this Friday and Saturday on the road. The Wolves will face off against the No. 7 Vikings at 7 p.m. on Friday, and the No.8 Wildcats at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Northern enters the weekend with a 16-10 record overall and 9-9 record in league action, currently holding an eighth place standing in the NSIC. The Wolves are one game up on Minnesota State who faces off against Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston this weekend. NSU is hitting .242 this season while averaging 13.0 kills, 12.5 assists, 16.0 digs, 1.5 service aces, and 1.8 digs per set.
Holly Vancura leads the team with 278 kills, while
Tori Biach is hitting a team leading .366 in her senior campaign. Biach also leads the team at the net with 83 blocks, while
Jaiden Langlie has a team second best 381 digs.
Ashley Rozell has accumulated 1,104 assists, averaging 11.74 per set which ranks her seventh in the nation.
