Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University soccer team will continue NSIC action this weekend, taking on Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston. The Wolves are currently 4-5-0 overall and 2-5-0 in league play.
Last weekend NSU forced two overtime matches, however, Wayne State and Augustana University both came away with victories.
Anna Bondy,
Darian Leschewski and
Stephany Estrada each nabbed a goal on the weekend. Senior
Anna Bondy led the NSU offense with one goal and two assists, while
Darian Leschewski finished with 15 shots and one goal.
The Wolves continues to lead the NSIC with 26 total goals, and are second overall in assist with 16. As a unit, NSU averages 22.1 shots and 2.89 goals per match, with a shot on goal percentage of .477.
Northern State will travel to Bemidji State to take on the Beavers at 3 p.m. on Friday and return home on Sunday to face Minnesota Crookston at 1 p.m..
