Men's ResultsSt. Paul, Minn.- The Northern State men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Minnesota this Saturday for the annual Roy Griak Invite, hosted by the University of Minnesota. The NSU women took 16
th overall, as the men finished 29
th.
Freshman
Tanner Peltier led the way for the Wolves in the men's 8K, and junior
Dakotah Bullen finished first among Northern's female runners in the women's 6K. Bullen was the only NSU runner to finish top 20 overall from the prestigious meet.
Bullen completed the race with a time of 23:17, finishing 14
th overall among her competitors. Behind Bullen, Northern runners
Lindsey Gast,
Paige Larson, and
Hanna Wahl all finished in the 25 minute mark. Minnesota-Duluth finished first as a team in the Division II Maroon Race.
Leading the way for the NSU men's team was Peltier as he finished with a time of 28:45 Finishing near Peltier was sophomore
Thomas Horgeshimer with a time of 28:56 followed by
Blake Perryman and
Ben Jack each under the 30 minute mark. The Division II Maroon Race team champions were Black Hills State.
The Northern State men's and women's cross country teams will be back in action next Saturday from Brookings, S.D. for the SDSU Classic. Race time is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. for the men and 11:10 a.m. for the women.
