Photo GalleryAberdeen, S.D. – The Wolves men's basketball team dropped an 81-92 contest to St. Cloud State in Friday NSIC action at home. The Northern State University men fall to 19-6 overall and 13-6 in league play.
Three Wolves tallied double-digit points in the game, led by
Tydan Storrusten with 27 points, three assists, and three steals.
Seth Bachand was second on the team with 17 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double in the game. Bachand now sits at 957 career points.
Skye Warwick was third on the team with 12 points, two assists and two steals in the game.
Northern put down 40 points in the paint, and shot 46.9 percent from the floor. The Wolves however struggled from the foul line going 14-of-24, and from the arch going 7-of-27. The two teams each brought down 35 boards, however Northern edged out 13 second chance boards.
The Wolves fought throughout the game, gaining the lead on three occasions, however were unable to take the top spot in the second half. St. Cloud State pulled away with 45 points to Northern's 39, securing the victory.
The NSU men will return to Wachs Arena tomorrow at 7 p.m. versus the Bulldogs of Minnesota Duluth.
